WWII: Voices of service poster exhibition
These six posters were created as an introductory installation for World War II: Voices of Service, a traveling exhibition developed by the Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History and jointly hosted by the Delaware Historical Society and the Jewish Historical Society of Delaware. The exhibition explores the global impact of World War II (1939–1945) through photographs, letters, and oral histories of everyday Americans.
This series highlights how Delawareans contributed through military and volunteer service, war bond efforts, and community building, drawing from archival materials that document diverse local experiences during the war.
